Whale Watching Day Tour to Hermanus

What Can you expect on your Whale Watching Day Tour to Hermanus ?

A typical Whale Watching Day Tour to Hermanus will start your day travelling to Gordon's Bay from Cape Town and make our way to Betty's Bay via Sir Clarence Drive which is a beautiful coastal drive where we will end up stopping to see the Penguins at Stoney Point.

We will then depart for Hermanus to do the Boat Based Whale Watching Trip. After a 2 hour Boat Based Whale Watching trip we will stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants in the Hermanus  Town Centre overlooking Walker Bay. We will then have time to walk off the Lunch while walking along the Cliff Path in Hermanus and hope to see some Southern Right Whales close to the Cliff Path. After we will return to Cape Town. 

What happens if the Boat Based Whale Watching Trip cannot go out due to bad sea conditions

We shall do a Walking Whale Tour along the Cliff Paths of Hermanus where Southern Right Whale frequent. 

Is the Boat Based Whale Watching Trip Compulsory?

No. This is optional and while the others are doing the Boat Based Whale Watching Trip you can walk along the  Hermanus Cliff Paths looking for Southern Right Whales.
