Our Cape Town to Gansbaai transfer is a private return service for guests travelling from Cape Town to the Gansbaai / Kleinbaai harbour for a boat-based whale watching or marine safari trip. We collect you from your hotel, guesthouse or apartment in the Cape Town City Centre and take you directly to the departure harbour in time for check-in. Once your boat trip is completed, your private transfer returns you to your accommodation in Cape Town.

Gansbaai lies about 160 km from Cape Town along the Overberg coast, and most marine trips in the area launch from Kleinbaai harbour a few kilometres away. There is no practical public transport on this route, so private transport from Cape Town to Gansbaai is the simplest way for guests without a car to reach an early-morning boat departure.
Because the transfer is private, your Cape Town pickup time is coordinated with your boat check-in time. We drive you directly to the harbour, wait for the duration of your trip, and then return you to the same Cape Town address.

Cape Town Pickup and Return
Your driver meets you at your accommodation at the agreed time. We confirm the pickup address, time and contact number by WhatsApp or email the day before. After your boat trip you are collected at the harbour and returned to the same Cape Town address.
